Triple Moon Goddess
The Maiden is the symbol of a young girl, which represents the first stage. The Maiden possesses the qualities of purity and innocence, and is associated with the phase of the New Moon. Springtime, fresh flowers, new grains, and the color white, are all best suited for rituals related to this phase of the Triple Moon Goddess. Invoke the Maiden for new beginnings, when starting a new project or job, the beginning of a new relationship and even "Coming of Age Rituals" for young adolescent girls.

The Mother represents growth, fertility, maturity, and sexuality, and represents the second stage. The Mother is in a position of power, because of her life-giving forces and her actions to defend her young, and is associated with the Full Moon. The Mother corresponds with the colour red. Invoke the Mother for Summer and Autumn rituals, when crops are growing and being harvested. Rituals related to the Mother often occur when projects are reaching fruition, in rituals for marriage and childbirth, for the protection of people or animals, and working with plants.

The Crone is the elderly woman, and represents the last phase. The Crone is symbolic of wisdom, experience, change, transformation and death, and is associated with the Waning Moon. Like the moon phase, death is necessary for rebirth. Winter is the Crone's season and her color is black. Rituals related to the Crone are about the ending of things. Such as the end of a relationship or endeavour, moving house, extreme protection against negative forces or retribution, easing the path of menopause, or dealing with death.
