Handcrafted Oak 'Healing' Wand
This handcrafted Oak (Duir/ Dwyr) Healing Wand is approximately 10.5 inches long, and the handle is 17mm at it's widest point. Natural Pure Beeswax Polish has been added to this wand to bring out the natural beauty of the Oak wood. The Oak Wand is the most powerful of the Sacred Wands, and the most Magickal wood for making Wands! It's especially noted for enhancing the endurance of spells "against time" and "counterspells"! The Merlin's (Taliesin's) Wand was said to have been made of Oak, and the Oak is reputed to be the Doorway between Worlds.

The word Duir (Dwyr) means Great Door or Portal. It is also linked to Drwyd, which means Druid or Wizard, which also explains why the Oak is sometimes called the "Wizard Wood". It is a Druid Holy tree. The Oak Wand, or Wizard Wand, is especially used for Healing, Endurance, Protection, Sealing or Opening Doors/Doorways, Power and Authority, and Wisdom.
