Mahogany Pocket Wand   -   NEW!

Mahogany Pocket Wand

This handcrafted Triple Moon Goddess Mahogany Wand is approximately 12 inches long. The handle, which has been fashioned in the shape of the Triple Moon Goddess, is approximately 27mm thick at it's widest point. Mahogany's planetary associations are the Earth, Mars, Mercury, and the Moon. It's Primary Elemental Association is Earth, and it's secondary Elemental association is Fire. The Triple Goddess is the threefold aspect of a Great Goddess, the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone [Triple Moon Goddess]. Symbols may be carved into the three orb, and then recoated with any clear finish.

The Mahogany Wand is an interesting wood mainly because, while most woods have a variety of differing uses, this one is very specialized. Mahogany is very focused on fertility, growing. It has a very powerful bond with the Earth, and will channel Earth energy better than any other. It is also used for Anti-lighting spells, to keep Storms at bay, elemental magick, and for peace. Secondary to fertility, this wood has other uses as well. Enhancing intuition, strengthening bonds with blood relatives (especially the mother/son relationship), and exploring and clarifying goals are all viable uses for Mahogany. Mahogany would not be good for divination. However, it is widely considered to be an excellent Wand for Transfigurations.

My husband and I were talking one evening, about the Magickal properties of the Mahogany, and he told me that Harry Potter's Father, James Potter, had a Mahogany Wands, and that it was noted that he used it for Transfigurations. Whether this was true, or not, I found it interesting that J.K. Rowlings cleverly associated the Mahogany Wand with tranfiguration spells. It is also a little tidbit of information for all our customers that are also lovers of the Harry Potter Books/ Movies.

White Mares Mane Core

Down through the history of time, the White Horse has always been a symbol of magick, especially the White Mares [pronounced Ma-ras]. Kings and Queens, Godsand Goddesses, such as the Welsh Horse Goddess, Rhiannon, and the Celtic Horse Goddess, Epona, have worshipped them. It is said that there is magick in the mane and tail of the White Mares, and when she runs, wind flowing through her mane, the magick is released onto the world of mankind. The hair from the White Mares has been used in rituals for thousands of years. Rituals for strength, for healing, to conquer, and even for enduring love and friendship. A single strand of the mane from the White Mares has been placed into the core of this wand, which increases the power of the wand. [Click here if you wish to read on.]

The Magick Within Us All
Gather around one and all, and listen to the wisdom of an Elder Witch. I would like to share something that I was taught from a young child back in the 1950's. The truth is, there is magick in all all. Magick is a part of life. It is all around us, and in everything. Magick is ... [Click here if you wish to read on.]
