Gather around one and all, and listen to the wisdom of an Elder Witch. I would like to share something that I learned as a young child. The truth is, there is magick in all all. Magick is a part of life. It is all around us, and in everything. Magick is an energy that can be possitive and negative. It just depends upon how one wishes to use it. Yes, there are witches that are more powerful than others, but this has to do with both lineage, and experience. You do not have to have Magickal parents to become Magickal yourself. You only need to know how to gather the Magickal energy from all around you to perform the rituals/ spells.
However, an note of caution. Some people will tell you that Magick is not real. I can assure you that it is very real, so I caution all who attempt any spell/ ritual, to be certain that you know exactly what you are doing. There are many books out there today, to explain the proper way to purify the area, you will be casting in, of any negative energy, and how to cast a circle. I advice you to learn them, and practice them, before actually performing any ritual or spell. If not done preoperly, it could very well back fire upon you, or even someone you love.
I would also like to take this opportunity to discuss something that I recently discovered on the Internet. The shameful practice among sellers of handcrafted items on the Internet, and I am heartsick fom it. There are those on the Internet whom would criticise the efforts/ work of others for their own monetary gain. Telling people that everyone else's magickal items are fake except theirs. How sad this is for the Magickal Community, because those whom practive negative criticism haven't a clue what real magick is all about.
I am a hereditary witch. My Mother is a witch, and our family has a very long Magickal lineage. Although my Magick is very powerful, I would never dream of criticising another's work. I advise you not to buy from people who practice these sort of sales tactics, because of the negative way they think. They draw negative energy to themslves and their work, and that negative energy could either damage others. So please be cautious who you choose to buy from, both on and off the Internet. Remember, if it does not feel right, then it probably isn't. Trust your own instincts, and you will be better off for it.
So please do not listen to these people who tell you that their work is better than others, because a true Magickal being would never do such a thing for monetary gain, or any other reason. And please do not listen to people if they criticise your efforts, because they do not have your best interest at heart. Believe in yourself, and others around you. Think positively about your ability to create, and you will draw positive energy to you. I also advise all whom are novice, to read the Witches Creed, before beginning.
