Beech Solstice Magick Wand
This handcrafted Beech [Sultan] Solstice Magick Wand is approximately 14 &1/2 inches long. The handcarved handle is approximately 24mm at it's widest point. A clear finish has been added to this wand to bring out the natural beauty of the Beechwood. The Beech Wand is also known as Queen of the woods, Mother of the woods, and Atarya Dwyrion, "Grandfather of Oaks." It is considered to be a feminine Goddess tree, is ruled by Saturn and the element of Fire. It is also sacred to Obraash the Sun lord, whom the Elves call Alba, and was particularly valued by the ancient Celts, and the Elves.

Beech is the Germanic word for Book, and was traditionally used to inscribe rune scripts and talismans on, and therefore linked to the divinatory power of the runes. Even today, Beech is used for making talismans, rune pieces, and magick wands. The Magickal properties associated with Beech include: spells of information, especially seeking old wisdom; invocation of ancient guardians or Ancestors; research into old writings and the runes; magick of the Summer Solstice, culmination of desires; magick of victory.
